Banjo Players Let You Know About the New RB Continental Banjo Case

We recently released our new Reunion Blues RB Continental Banjo Case and since then there has already been a few sightings of it in the wild. One of our favorites is from our friends at Banjo Hangout. You’ll remember that our own Director of Product Development, Dave Andrus, sat down with Banjo Hangout member, Craig Evans, back in December for a discussion on the then yet released RB Continental Banjo Case.

Well now Craig has picked up his own RB Continental Banjo Case and it took him all of five seconds to snap some photos and let everyone on the forum know what he thought.

Reunion Blues as “Achievement Award”

Band Director and music teacher for Citrus High School in Florida, Brian York, entered our Reunion Blues stick bag giveaway essay contest and wrote about how he would use the prize not for himself, but for a deserving student. That was enough for us! Below is a quote from Brian after he realized he was the winner… and a great photo of him on the job. Congratulations Brian and thanks for a wonderful idea.

“WOW!!  Fantastic, thank’s a lot for this.  It’s gonna go a long way as a great motivator for one of my aspiring young drummers.  I honestly wasn’t expecting this at all!  Here is a picture attached with me and my students, I honestly don’t know who I am going to give it to yet.  I’ve got a few in mind, but it may end up being a motivational “prize” or something… Thanks again!”

Punks in Pinstripes?

Noah MackeyWhodathunk it? But here’s the living proof.  This is Noah Mackey of Indianapolis punk rock band The Involuntarys tearing it up in a Reunion Blues Merino Wool/Leather black and white pinstripe guitar strap.  When we first introduced the world’s most comfortable guitar strap a few years ago we really thought that the black and white pinstripe design was going to be most popular with jazz and classical players but it turns out that even punk rockers and indie bands like an occasional touch of pinstriped panache! Noah says the the strap’s leather ends still smell delicious and are so thick and rigid that no straplocks are needed! To hear some serious, stripped down, old school, hardcore, midwestern punk rock and find out more about The Involuntarys visit their Facebook page or their website.

Keep on rockin’ in style and comfort Noah…

RB Spotting: Warpaint’s Jenny Lee Lindberg

I’ve been really enjoying the new Warpaint record over the last several weeks and was pleased to stumble across a photo of bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg wearing one of our über-comfortable and pinstriped merino wool guitar straps.

If you get a chance to check out “the Fool” I highly recommend it. The band is touring the US and Europe over the next few months so if they’re in town the live show is not to be missed! (If you’re interested in where you can find one of those sexy straps, click “How to Buy” from the Reunion Blues front page.)
